HHS Fest
HHS Fest
We were honored to be invited to participate in HHS Fest, a celebration of the 15th anniversary of the College of HHS! Our members helped run carnival activities and invited local food truck vendors. We'd like to give a HUGE shout out to Gordo's Food Truck and the Goodwin Group who generously donated 20% of their profits from the event to the MLF scholarship! We were able to raise $450 that will aid in assisting HHS students on their academic journeys.

HHS Tailgate
HHS Tailgate
In spite of a storm that continued to push the game back, HHS hosted a tailgate that weathered the rain and provided a place for families to have fun and eat some food! At this event, we provided the opportunity for parents and family members to write their students letters that we could deliver for them. Nothing can stop the spirit of the students and families in the College of Health and Human Sciences!

Smiles in a Bowl
We all know midterms can be stressful so to help spread positivity, our members faced the chilly February weather and hosted a "take-one-leave-one" event where students were encouraged to take a positive note and write one to share with others.

Professor Dinner
As a way of saying "thank you," Council members nominated faculty members that have made an impact on their academic journeys to a dinner at Ripple & Co. in Downtown Lafayette. We loved being able to show our appreciation for the hard work these professors have done, and had a great time chatting with them outside of the classroom!
